Position Description

1. Supporting News Research: Assist in researching news stories by gathering background information and compiling data to support reporters.

2. Facilitating Content Preparation: Contribute to content preparation by drafting basic articles, proofreading for errors, and formatting text for publication.

3. Managing Editorial Deadlines: Help manage editorial deadlines by tracking submission dates, reminding team members of upcoming deadlines, and ensuring timely content delivery.

4. Coordinating Interview Schedules: Aid in coordinating interview schedules by arranging appointments, confirming details with sources, and updating calendars.

5. Updating News Files: Assist in maintaining news files by organizing and cataloging articles, ensuring that content is correctly filed and easy to access.
